It’s not just about making the setup easier, but safer. By rigging in holes on the same axis, purpose built rescue devices like Harken Clutches become easier and safer to operate by one tender- keeping both ropes in uniform tension for both lower and raise. Keeping the devices in ergonomic position is not an issue with the 4 holes circling the pipe. This and more with less gear.
Beyond being an orienting device, the Tiki Rigging Pipe easily pairs well with other rigging plates (Justa, Focus plate) to create multi directional/ multi capable rigging systems. The Tiki can also be used to spread and orient pulleys, decreasing wear and friction.
It is made from solid aluminum by our friends at Conterra, in Bellingham, WA and certified by UL to meet NFPA 2500.
